Course details

Berklee College of Music’s international campus in Valencia, Spain, offers a comprehensive Summer music performance program for two weeks in July 2016. The Valencia Summer Performance Program features world-class Berklee faculty, visiting artists, state-of-the-art facilities and a chance to study a variety of contemporary music styles, including jazz, Latin jazz, fusion, pop/rock, R&B and Mediterranean music.

The Valencia Summer Performance Program is open to all musicians at least 15 years old who have a minimum of six months instrument or voice experience. Whether you are an experienced performer or someone who has never been in front of an audience, you can improve your performance skills by attending. In a supportive and creative environment, our top-notch teachers encourage you to push your vocal and instrumental performance skills to new levels and define your musical voice.

Summer Performance Program Schedule 2016

Students take part in classes from 9:30am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday, with a special Flamenco workshop and paella lunch taking place on Saturday. Concerts/jam sessions take place in the late afternoon and evening. Optional activities take place throughout the program, such as batucada, gospel choir or open mic night.
