About the Festival

Voices of the world united in song

The International Youth Choir Festival 2017 is a vibrant celebration of singing and choral music featuring eight outstanding youth choirs from four continents. On Saturday 15 April 2017, these outstanding international young singers will come to the Royal Albert Hall for a concert showcasing the unique and beautiful sounds of their choirs.

During the day, IYCF Delegate ticket holders can attend an exclusive set of workshops and seminars. An IYCF Expo will be running throughout the day, offering exhibition and promotional opportunities to commercial partners. Please email for the IYCF 2017 Media Pack

On Monday 17 April 2017, all eight IYCF choirs will reunite with Southbank Sinfonia and conductor Ben Gernon for a joint performance of Jonathan Dove’s There Was A Child at the Royal Festival Hall. Tickets are available now from the Southbank Centre.

ICYF delegate sessions

Aimed at choral and music education professionals, IYCF Delegate ticket holders can attend exclusive workshops and seminars during the day, before enjoying the IYCF concert in the evening.
