Sing for Pleasure Summer School 2016

  • Keele University Keele Staffordshire ST5 5BG United Kingdom

About the course

There is something for every choral enthusiast at Sing for Pleasure's annual, week-long Summer School, held at the University of Keele, Staffordshire – from new-style Singers' courses (introduced in 2015) and Foundation and Intermediate Choral Conducting skills courses right through to the demands of Advanced Level Conducting.

From 13-21 August 2016, we will be offering a number of different courses to suit all abilities and styles:

  • Our ever-popular Conducting courses, available at Foundation, Intermediate 1 and 2 and Advanced levels
  • We plan to continue the special Singers' courses which ran for the first time in 2015 and which were very well received; those taking part in a fun three-day course at the start of the week will learn repertoire for the end-of-school concert and, for the second half of the week, three different Chorale courses are scheduled to run, aimed at community choirs, experienced sight-singers and those looking for even more challenging repertoire
