The organisers of the 2015 Musical Instruments & Technology Show (MITS) have announced that bookings are now open with free tickets for anyone who books in advance on the event website.
The three-day show takes place from 6-8 November 2015 at EventCity, Manchester and is billed as 'a stimulating event for everyone involved in music, from music teachers to sound engineers'.
Among the features at the 2015 show are a pop-up recording studio, a chill-out lounge, performance areas and a stage supported by Sound On Sound, the Official Media Sponsor of the event.
MITS is designed for those studying and teaching music as well as anyone working in the music industry, including musicians, bands, performers, producers and engineers. There will be a Careers Hub at the event with guidance and advice on building a successful career in the music industry, highlighting the many opportunities that exist.
Visitors will have the opportunity to see the latest musical equipment and technologies, enjoy an extensive programme of live performances and demonstrations, benefit from practical workshops and training sessions, hear discussion and debate from key experts in the sector and network with other music industry professionals.
According to event manager, Chris Martin:
'Offering free entry – as well as free parking – means that we will attract a wider audience, which will help to establish MITS as a must-attend music event for the industry.'
